On July 1, 2020, the North American Free Trade Agreement was replaced with an updated and rebalanced agreement that works much better for North America, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). The United States, Mexico, and Canada share an important trade relationship as it accounts for $1.3 trillion in annual trade, supporting 3 million jobs in the United States. The USMCA is a mutually beneficial agreement for North American workers, farmers, ranchers, and businesses, while supporting high-paying jobs for Americans and growth of the North American economy.
To help more underserved small businesses to take advantage of trade with the USMCA, the brochures located below provide a USMCA exporter checklist for small businesses seeking to begin or expand their sales to international customers in Canada and Mexico, and provides information on U.S. Government resources and free business counseling available to small businesses.
