Born and raised in the region, Jim is no stranger to area and the issues you care about. Jim is a huge advocate of many charities; one most dear to him is Meals on Wheels. In the late 1970's his father helped to establish the first Meals on Wheels program in Florida. Jim is passionate about supporting their mission of improving senior health through the delivery of nutritious meals.
Jim has 30 years of broadcasting experience and has worked at stations in Wichita, Dallas, Raleigh, Houston and Fort Myers. Over the years he's won numerous awards for his reporting, including an Associated Press Award, and has covered countless big stories.
Jim graduated from the University of Texas-Arlington with a B.A. in Journalism. He has a wife and two grown children. During his free time, Jim enjoys cooking, traveling and staying active.
